Research interest:

I’m interested in the study of insect-fungus and fungus-fungus interactions, both antagonists and mutualists.  My research is focused on the antagonistic fungus-fungus interactions that take place in the ant fungus garden (attine ants). Currently, I’m working on the project, Correlation between virulence and phylogeny of fungi in the genus Escovopsis associated with derived attine ants.
