I hold a degree in Microbiology and Parasitology and am currently pursuing a Master's in Biological Sciences. My research focuses on the mycobiota associated with complex biological systems, specifically the diversity of yeasts found in the gardens of Apterostigma ants. My work aims to identify the "killer" phenotype in these yeasts, providing valuable data on microbial interactions within attine ant nests. Driven by a deep interest in microbiology and symbiotic relationships.
In my free time, I like to do botanical art, and science communication and sometimes I watch anime and play videogames :)
