Laboratory of Fungal Ecology and Systematics

Andre Rodrigues

As a mycologist, I study insect-fungus associations focusing on taxonomy, systematics and functional roles of fungi for the insect hosts. I earned my master and PhD titles under the supervision of Dr. Fernando Carlos Pagnocca, a yeast taxonomist who dedicated his career studying yeasts associated with fungus-growing ants and plants.
